This was an art test of sorts for my position at Splash Damage. They asked me to do something to show some level design skills. To answer this I designed a mission for Enemy Territory using much of their existing graphic style.
The mission is to infiltrate and steal a U-Boat with an intact Enigma machine on board. I approached the level design from the point of view of each player class, identifying the tasks which each class fulfilled within a team and creating opportunities within each area to use those skills. In this way I hoped to make the level engaging, fun and rewarding for all classes.
The design was very well received and Splash Damage were kind enough to give me a position on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars as a result.
